- Notes / remarks / school circulars etc. sent from the school should be checked and signed promptly by the parents / guardians. Necessary actions should also be taken whenever required.
- Punctuality, refined manners, obedience, personal and cleanliness are emphasized at all times.
- The school authorities should be notified about:
- Student’s physical problems or allergic condition
- The medical treatment being received by the student.
- The management has the right to increase the fees, as and when the need arises.
- A student may incur punishment including dismissal from the school for irregular attendance, habitual negligence, disobedience, insubordination or conduct injurious to the moral tone & discipline of the school.
- No student will be excused from physical exercise without a valid Doctor’s certificate.
ATTENDANCE & LEAVE :
- Prior sanction must be sought from the section head, through a written application, in case of absence exceeding three days.
- Prolonged absence on medical grounds should be supported by a medical certificate.
- Students suffering from contagious or infectious diseases must refrain from attending school until the completion of the quarantine period. They will not be permitted to attend school until they produce a medical certificate of fitness.
- It is compulsory for all the students to attend the assembly. Parents are requested to ensure that their children attend the school punctually. Students must have minimum 75 % attendance in each term. Only then he / she will be permitted to appear for the test, formative and summative exams respectively.
- Parents should make a request for leave in advance only when it is absolutely necessary. Application for leave written by the parent should be addressed to the Head of the child’s section.
- The school operates on a full attendance policy. However, sometimes, absences cannot be avoided. We ask the students and parents to take responsibility for their absence by finding out what activities and home work have been missed. It is up to the parents to ensure that the missed work is made up and that missed homework assignments are completed.
- Students’ attendance will be declared in the school transfer records to future schools.
- The school authorities should be informed about planned long leave in advance, in written.
- In case of illness or unforeseen circumstances the school authorities must be notified within two days by the parents or guardians.
- In case of sick leave, medical certificate has to be attached with the leave letter.
- The school authorities reserve the right to cancel the name of student if, the student is absent continuously for more than 15 days without notifying the management.
- Half day leaves will not be allowed in any circumstances.
- Leave of absence from school will be granted to student only after a previous written application from their parents. Such application will be considered by the section head & only be granted in case of absolute necessity.
- Students who remain absent without permission or notification from the parents shall,
- Receive an irregular attendance remark.
- Will be under suspension & asked to stay at home for an equal number of days that they are absent without permission.
- A student suffering from contagious disease should not come to school until he/ she recovers completely and a certificate of recovery by a recognized/certified doctor or a specialist should be presented to the school authorities.
- Students are not allowed to be absent on the closing day / reopening day or whenever there is a school function.
- No leave will be granted to students 10 days before any exam.
- Students and parents should be aware that such “excuses” as oversleeping, missing the bus, or attending social events are not acceptable. Students must report to all classes on time. Attendance will be taken in the first lecture.
- In all cases of absence, parents/ guardians should notify the class teacher through the Vidyanishi.

CONDUCT & DISCIPLINE
All students are expected to conduct themselves in a disciplined manner in all places and at all times and project the good name of their school by their courteousness, good manners and conversation. Students should be kind, considerate and co-operative with their fellow students and teachers at all times.
The whole hearted co-operation of the parents is expected at all times in the formation of the character of their children. As the student progresses from the lower to the higher classes, he/she will be given increasing opportunities to shift from externally imposed order to self-imposed order and self-imposed discipline.
