Confluence Program

An eight day Confluence Program had been arranged with Radhika Educare School, Jamnagar. The students of 7th Grade from Radhika Educare School visited Genius Group of Institutions along with two Educators. In the journey of eight days along with enjoyment, they had gone through various academic and non-academic activities like Skype Session, I-Ken, GK Quiz, Art & Craft, Scratch Program, Stand-Up Comedy, various Sports activities at within the premises and also with the associated with Genius Group of Institutions. They also explored the unique places of Rajkot like Iskon Temple, Siddhi Vinayak Temple, Swaminarayan Temple, Ishwariya Park, Sardar Patel Swimming Pool, Arsh Vidhya Mandir –Munjka and many more. They were also being taken for the Industrial visits at S.S. Ice Cream and Balaji Wafers. Overall, the students of Radhika Educare School had an amazing experience with all the students of Genius Group of Institutions along with learning.

Education is being combined with practical knowledge as well day-by-day for the coming generation. Two schools of Gujarat – Rajkot based Genius Group of Schools and Ahmedabad based Anand Niketan School (Shilaj) joined hands for carrying out this program for their students. The students of Grade 6th of Anand Niketan (Shilaj) visited Genius Group of Schools. They attended regular school activities along with the students of our school. Their accompanied teacher also took a Science lecture in our school. They visited the famous places of Rajkot like Pradhyuman Park Zoo, Rotary Doll’s Museum, Watson Museum, Pramukh Swami Planetarium, Shreeji Gaushala, Panchnath Mahadev Charitable Trust managed by Animal Hospital, Fun World etc. They even visited other institutes falling under Genius Group of Institutions. They enjoyed the painting work as Chitranagri concept at Ratanpar Village.

Such program gives a chance to the students to become more independent and also give different new ideas to the schools which they can inculcate from the opposite school, thus making learning a fun!

As a part of this program, the students of Grade 8 from Surat based Vibrant International Academy grabbed the opportunity to visit Genius Group of Institutions. In the journey of three days, they visited our school campus having a look at the astronomical models put on display, the labs, and library, working model of a Dam, the spacious library, and Convention hall, Ayurvedic College as well as the Nakshatra Van. During this program, they had an interaction with the personalities like City Police Commissoner Shri Mohankumar Jha, Swami Parmatmanand Saraswatiji etc. Apart from that, they also visited the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium located on the outskirts of Rajkot city to witness the live practice match of World Cup T-20 going on between Oman and Gujarat teams. They discovered every department of our sister concerns Genius English Medium School and Gardi Vidhyapith as well and had many interesting activities like Group Discussion, Debate, Music, Dance and many more. Those happy faces had indeed a mesmerizing experience and expressed their wish to visit soon at our place.

The students of Grade 7th, 8th & 9th Day section & Regular Section visited Junagadh based Eklavya Public School as a part of their two-day Confluence Program. They visited the all the sections of the schools and interacted with teachers and the students there. They visited various places like Akshar Temple, Seed Germination Research Centre, Akashvani-Agri Studio at Agricultural University, Bhavnath Temple etc. They enjoyed Sports Activity, Assembly acitivity and the class-wise activity with the students of that school

Such Confluence Programs increase the Educational benefits for the students like Problem Solving Skills, Multi-faceted approaches towards learning, self-awareness and to obtain more knowledge from other cultures, people and environment. The students were accompanied by their educators – Snehal Desai and Vidhi Joshi.

A Teacher’s Confluence Program was held at Genius English Medium School, as a part of which four teachers from Eklavya Public School,Junagadh had come and participated in the knowledge sharing session.

Same way, Genius English Medium School Teachers – Mr. Jainul Makda, Ms.Hetal Pandya and Ms. Heena Sindhwani went to Eklavya Public School, Junagadh as a part of one-day Teachers’ Confluence Program.
